Gifford is a patron of many charities for children which include Childhelp and the Association to Benefit Children. The two organizations were the inspiration behind Cassidy's Place & Cody House which was named in honor of her kids. Marymount University awarded her honorary degrees in recognition of the humanitarian work she performed in the field of labor relations.
Sage Steele (American sports journalist) is ESPN Sports Network's co-anchor, along with Matt Barri from SportsCenter during the noon ET time slot.
